Welcome to my website, Stressbuster.

As is implied by it's name, I have decided to create this website and use it as a tool with which I can manage my stress. That is the INTENT, at any rate. A small part of me worries that I will pull a 'Jeckyl and Hyde' and morph into a competitive, attention- seeking media monster; and turn this into a "brag" project. That is fairly unlikely, though, as I barely have a handle on social media technology.

It is my hope that by acknowledging the good in my life, daily, I will eventually be able to see life through clearer, more objective eyes. I have tried to do this, on paper; but I continually wash, lose, or doodle away all the text on these paper scraps. Since this record of positivity is meant to be reflected upon...well... I am fairly confident that I won't accidentally throw my laptop into the washing machine! Hence, the birth of my very first website.

Another motivator behind the creation of this website is to become more facile in the use of  social media / internet technology; so if you notice that I could be doing something more efficiently...PLEASE tell me.

Visitor's notice

One of these days, I WILL have some news or interesting objects to peruse within this section. For now, you are just going to have to visualize something witty, beautiful, and /or thought-provoking, here. Those, I believe, are the characteristics of the things that help me to, temporarily, beat the stress.

This is also the place where I will be asking for constructive criticism of select artworks or even just art ideas.

This image is another of the ARTiculate Travelling Sketchbook images that I made. However, it's been slightly altered, digitally. The original is not sienna in colour. This image is a collaged  response to the steampunk references that occur  earlier in the Reinterpret / Respond sketchbook. I couldn't resist  adding the belly dancing and En Masse imagery, as they have both been a very positive influence on me, recently.
